Trailblazer Orientation provides a wealth of information about the academic and social culture of Utah Tech University, as well as opportunities for connection to other new students, current student leaders, campus resources, and faculty and staff. Trailblazer Orientation has shown to have a positive effect on retention and graduation, and as such, attendance at Trailblazer Orientation is required for ALL new students.
During Trailblazer Orientation, you will:
- Meet your Trail Guide, a current student who will lead you through your orientation experience
- Connect with other New Trailblazers in your academic college
- Learn more about campus resources that will aid in your academic career
- Meet with your academic advisor to review and confirm your class schedule
