WELCOME NEW STUDENTS!

Welcome to Trailblazer Nation! As a new student, you are hopefully excited about starting your college experience but might be nervous or still have questions about what college is like. Whether you are a freshman or transfer student, attending Trailblazer Orientation is the best way to be prepared for your transition to Utah Tech University. Orientation is required for all new students and must be attended before the Orientation Hold is removed from your course registration account.

At orientation, you will:

  • Meet and connect with other incoming freshmen
  • Learn ways you can get involved at Utah Tech during your first year
  • Understand the social and academic culture of Utah Tech and how it differs from high school or your previous institution
  • Connect to campus resources that support you during your first year and through graduation
  • Meet your academic advisors to learn more about your academic plan and review your course schedule
