As a transfer student, you might understand what college life is all about, but attending Trailblazer Orientation is the best way to be prepared for your transition to Utah Tech University.

At orientation, you will:

  • Meet and connect with other incoming transfer students
  • Understand the social and academic culture of Utah Tech and how it differs from your previous institution
  • Learn about campus policies and connect to campus resources
  • Meet academic advisors to review your course schedule

LOCATION

Utah Tech is located at 225 S University Avenue (700 E). Whether you are driving on I-15 heading north or south, take the St. George Boulevard exit (Exit 8) and head west. Turn left on 700 E / University Ave and head south. Once you’re on campus, there will be directional signs leading you to the Check In.

Family members and guests have their own separate schedule at Trailblazer Orientation where they will meet other family members, hear from faculty and staff, and learn how they can best support their new Trailblazers. For more information about what your family and guests can expect, click below.

Guest Information

You will not need a parking pass for orientation, however, be sure to park only in an open Student/General (white-painted) parking spot. We recommend parking in Lots M or N.

If you receive a parking ticket in error, bring it and your license plate number to the Cashier’s Office on the first floor of the Holland.
